About the role

As a General Manager at Victra, you shape the guest experience by coaching your team to give their best to every guest, every time. You exceed sales targets while maintaining operational excellence. Through paid training, you will embrace and take ownership of your store, developing your Assistant General Manager and helping them learn what it means to lead at Victra.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high-level accountability for all retail store functions
  • Communicate and implement the company vision through directing day-to-day activities of entire store staff
  • Drive high-performance results within a fast-paced, demanding solutions sales environment
  • Focus on optimizing customer and employee experience
  • Act as mentor for your Assistant General Manager
  • Complete trainings and attend weekly sales leadership calls
  • Motivate your team to do their best in every guest interaction
  • Build, develop, and mentor your sales team
  • Teach, coach, and follow our sales process with Every Guest Every Time
  • Attract and retain top caliber employees
  • Serve as a brand advocate for Victra
  • Provide ongoing sales training and support for your team to exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives
  • Engage in sales strategy development to ensure products and services are effectively showcased throughout the store
  • Ensure store employees meet and/or exceed defined monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time and fully
  • Develop and implement sales tools and initiatives
  • Maintain store performance by running retail inventory compliance
  • Engage in business operations including budgeting, forecasting, analyzing, and providing sales reports
  • Think of innovative ways to drive traffic in stores and capitalize on existing customer base
  • Own store success and take ownership for store employees' work-related needs, store leadership, staffing and scheduling, maintaining labor controls, marketing, loss prevention, and all other store functions
  • Own all guest escalations and provide timely resolution
  • Clearly communicate company objectives and priorities to team members and provide timely follow up
  • Stay up to date with new sales promotions and ensure they provide our guests with a complete solution to meet their current and future needs

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a retail sales environment
  • 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
  • Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment
  • Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals
  • Experience balancing multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment
  • Experience setting goals, evaluating performance, and developing a high-performing team
  • Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Pay

Base rate of $21.16/hour with uncapped earning potential through commission.

Schedule & training requirements

  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods
  • Attend and successfully complete a 4-day New Hire University (NHU) training program within 30 days of official start date (may include overnight travel at company's expense)
  • Attend and successfully complete a 3-day General Manager University (SMU) training program within 30 days of completing NHU (may include overnight travel at company's expense)
  • Various online and computer-based training required throughout employment

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift ten pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
