General Manager

Palm Beach Tan is looking for an energetic, results-driven General Manager to lead one of our Baton Rouge locations. You'll take ownership of the salon's performance, coach a team to reach their goals, and create an experience that keeps customers coming back.

About the role

We're looking for someone who knows how to sell, motivate, and lead—whether your background is in beauty, fitness, retail, hospitality, membership sales, or another customer-focused industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the salon
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
• Drive membership sales, retail sales, customer retention, and revenue growth
• Set clear goals and motivate your team to achieve and exceed them
• Create a welcoming customer experience that reflects the Palm Beach Tan brand
• Manage scheduling, cash handling, inventory, and other salon operations
• Build relationships in the community through local marketing and events
• Lead by example and bring energy, accountability, and positivity to the team

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of leadership, management, or sales experience
• Proven ability to hit sales goals and motivate others to do the same
• Enjoys coaching, developing, and holding people accountable
• Passionate about beauty, wellness, fitness, or helping people feel confident
• Thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Brings positive energy, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
• Is organized, dependable, and comfortable balancing people leadership with business operations

Pay

$50,000–$60,000+ total compensation - Base Salary + Monthly Bonus + Uncapped Commission
