Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the branch operations team, establishing operational performance objectives and expectations while providing leadership and support for growth.
- Develop and implement operational plans and best practices tailored to the division, focusing on revenue and profitability targets through established procedures, workflows, and best practices.
- Oversee, allocate, and properly utilize all branch resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure customer satisfaction remains a priority by building and nurturing relationships, delivering high-quality services, and promptly addressing customer concerns.
- Manage the full scope of P&L for the branch, actively contributing to revenue generation through new business opportunities, customer relationship nurturing, and collaboration with the Sales team.
- Partner with Finance to monitor costs and expenses, ensuring alignment with budget and revenue targets while optimizing operational efficiencies.
- Evaluate financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Commit to a culture of safety, ensuring employees have the required tools and PPE for their work.
- Establish quality control measures and ensure compliance with fire and life safety regulations and best practices.
- Hold weekly team meetings to monitor project status, financials, change order opportunities, and project execution and billing status.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and divisional leadership to address project requirements and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Review contracts for interpretation of inclusions/exclusions related to construction installation activities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in Fire and Life Safety systems, incorporating them into project management practices.
- Perform other duties as required.
