The Brothers That Just Do Gutters is a rapidly growing, locally owned, and operated full-service rain gutter and gutter guard franchise with over 100 locations nationwide. Position Summary

As a General Manager of our Norwood, MA location, this role is the primary integrator for the organization, listening closely to the owner’s vision and mapping out a plan to achieve it. The GM brings creative roadmaps to the owner, including detailed plans for achieving the annual and long-term plans. The GM is responsible for the output of all the people on their team. This will require creating, maintaining, and improving the systems and processes the team uses, as well as gaining the type of buy-in that animates them at peak performance. This role is responsible for all business operations and will determine and delegate to staff; which consists of administrative, operational, sales/marketing, and field employees.

General Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily business operations
  • Developing and implementing growth strategies
  • Training low-level managers and staff
  • Creating and managing budgets
  • Improving revenue
  • Ensures the annual plan is executed, KPIs met and adherence to the budget
  • Hiring employees
  • Sets and achieves goals for sales volumes, closing rates, and gross profits
  • Evaluates performance and productivity
  • Analyzes accounting and financial data
  • Ensures that work is completed accurately, completely, and on time
  • Generates reports and gives presentations
  • Maintains an organized workflow and process using company CRM

Communication

  • Maintains regular communication with the owner, staff, and field personnel, working cooperatively to develop methods and systems that are most effective for growing the business
  • Maintains company reputation of integrity and professionalism by professionally communicating with customers, being punctual for appointments, returning phone calls promptly, etc
  • Affirms that all necessary information about jobs is communicated to crew leaders as necessary (i.e. job colors, job scopes, scheduling, billing, etc.)
  • Maintains open communication with crew leaders to remain knowledgeable of jobs and teams
  • Communicates with all employees in a positive and respectful manner

Other Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates positive leadership through all actions with all employees
  • Attends all meetings on time
  • Works the necessary hours per week to perform all duties and responsibilities promptly
  • Assists in the development and implementation of new systems, helping to maintain and increase the company’s profitability and organization as it changes and grows
  • Assists in problem-solving and implementing solutions
  • Participates in planning company growth and development and supports company mission by following through on initiatives
