General Manager

About the role

You take full ownership of our branch operations across key downtown and/or airport locations. You inspire your team, make smart business decisions, and ensure every customer experience is exceptional.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of designated branches, including downtown and/or airport locations
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with business requirements, enhance operational processes, and foster employee engagement
• Spearhead revenue growth strategies, analyze costs effectively, and optimize incremental sales opportunities
• Provide strategic oversight of business operations to ensure alignment of resources, training, and infrastructure to meet set targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Offer guidance, mentorship, coaching, and leadership to nurture employee growth and development plans
• Manage budgets, employee reviews, training, schedules, and contract negotiations for optimal efficiency
• Oversee the rental fleet, sales and performance initiatives, and maintain compliance with industry standards
• Drive operational excellence and profitability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in sales, business development, or customer service
• Experience in the car rental industry is required
• Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and operational KPIs
• Successful leadership experience in sales operations driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time to designated locations

Pay

Competitive base salary of $82,000 per year, plus an annual target bonus.
