General Manager

About the role

We’re building the most loved chicken brand in the UK & Ireland and are looking for experienced Restaurant General Managers to take full ownership of their restaurant. You’ll motivate your teams to deliver high standards and great metrics across people, sales, profit, and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation
• Full accountability for your restaurant’s performance, including P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit, and brand standards
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action
• Bring the fun, keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the culture vibrant

Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Ability to deliver quality, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership—you’ve built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
