General Manager

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is a leading provider of cryogenic pumps, heat exchangers, process systems, services, and solutions for the LNG and industrial gases industry. About the role

The General Manager, reporting to the President of the Nikkiso Cryogenic Pumps Functional Unit, directs operations through a team of directors and functional managers, ensuring an effective manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure all departments meet performance targets.
• Optimize manpower, materials, and machines to achieve operational goals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for efficient use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment and safety protocols.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality standards and on-time delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development.
• Analyze and improve KPIs to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
• Determine operations headcount needs and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with company needs for capital investments and improvement projects.
• Support professional growth and development of team members through training and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business strategies.
• Contribute to long-term planning and organizational growth initiatives.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing management experience; experience with rotating equipment manufacturing preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant software applications.

Pay

$140,000 – $220,000, plus a generous bonus structure.

Schedule

• Domestic and international travel required (less than 30%).

• May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk, hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. may be required.
