General Manager

About the role

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald's critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Work with the leader to set the restaurant's goals and create a plan to achieve them
• Lead a team of Assistant Managers who have specific responsibilities in the restaurant
• Help Assistant Managers set their own goals, follow up on their progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve
• May be responsible for hiring and developing Assistant and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for the future

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager experience running high volume locations
• Background in quick service restaurants strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants
