About the role
The General Manager will plan, coordinate, and manage business operations to satisfy the established goals of the company. The role involves leading the Oregon division, developing strategic plans, and ensuring high performance and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Accountability

- Maintains ultimate accountability for ODS - Oregon performance
- Strategic Business Planning & Market Leadership
- Develops and executes a rolling three-year strategic business plan
- Identifies market opportunities and customer needs
- Establishes annual revenue, profitability, and growth objectives
- Cultivates relationships with key clients and industry influencers
- Strengthens Hermanson's market position as an industry leader
- Business Development, Sales & Client Relationships
- Determines project scope, system concepts, and equipment selections
- Directs proposal development, presentation strategy, and customer engagement efforts
- Maintains customer advocacy and satisfaction throughout construction and project delivery
- Business Unit Operations & Financial Performance
- Assesses organizational capacity and resource requirements
- Drives accountability through strategic planning, organizational alignment, performance measurement, and continuous improvement
- Delivers revenue, profitability, and project margin performance consistent with Business Unit objectives
- Talent Development & Organizational Growth
- Recruits, mentors, coaches, and develops employees
- Fosters a culture of growth, accountability, and high performance
- Identifies and implements employee development programs aligned with Business Unit goals
- Develops future leaders and strengthens organizational capabilities through ongoing mentoring and leadership development
- Safety, Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Champions safety as a core value
- Ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Communicates effectively with clients regarding jobsite incidents
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives

Pay
The salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $160,000.00 (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).
