General Manager

About the role

As a General Manager at Planet Fitness, you’ll create an exceptional “Judgement Free” environment, deliver outstanding customer service, and motivate your team to exceed goals while fostering a welcoming and positive atmosphere for every member.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire operation and management of the club, ensuring a positive member experience, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Ensure excellence in member services by creating a welcoming environment.
• Interview, hire, and train new staff.
• Ensure proper staffing and coverage in the club based on business needs.
• Conduct all evaluations and performance reviews for all staff in the club.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly club.
• Ensure club profitability and financial success.
• Ensure the safety and protection of employees and members in the club and the entire club property.
• Handle timecard administration and properly follow all Planet Fitness policies and guidelines as they pertain to employee pay.
• Train staff on and execute local and national promotions.
