About the role
The General Manager at Leith Acura of Cary will lead and oversee all dealership operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and goals while driving profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, implements, and ensures compliance with organization policies and goals.
- Provides counsel and direction to sales, service, parts, body shop, F&I, and administration to affect operational efficiency and economy.
- Directs and coordinates promotion of services to develop new markets, increase market share, and obtain a competitive position in the industry.
- Analyzes department budgets to identify areas where profit opportunities can be maximized or costs minimized to achieve the operating budget.
- Reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required.
- Ensures employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and return on investment through communication, oversight, and direction.
- Promotes the recruitment and development of dealership managers and non-management employees.
- Examines pay practices and develops pay plan models to achieve budgetary goals.
- Serves as a liaison with the manufacturer; works with factory representatives to achieve factory objectives.
- Provides strategic planning and execution to meet long-term dealership goals.
- Ensures all HR topics are monitored and appropriately managed along with necessary documentation.
- Recruits and develops future leaders.
- Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
- 8+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6+ years of dealership experience at a department manager level or similar related work.
- Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methodologies of department operations to ensure dealership profitability.
Pay
Starting annual compensation range: $273,390.00 - $309,105.00 USD for full-time employees. The range includes base pay and bonus earnings.
