About the role
The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at Burger King is responsible for managing daily operations of a single restaurant, ensuring guest satisfaction, and achieving desired outcomes such as increased sales, profitability, and employee retention.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the financial controls, operations, people development, guest service, and BKC compliance within the restaurant across all shifts.
- Leading the restaurant management team and working long and/or irregular shifts, including extra shifts, as needed.
- Managing a team of Team Members, Shift Coordinators, and Assistant Managers under the supervision of a District Manager.
- Interacting with restaurant team members, management, District Managers, customers, field operations team members, and outside vendors.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years of college education preferred.
- Completion of all internal certification programs.
- One to two years of restaurant management experience.
- A strong understanding of P-L interpretation and management to influence profitability.
- The ability to prioritize and organize work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
