About the Role

A General Maintenance Worker (Filters) performs general maintenance of equipment and buildings, with a focus on HVAC systems. On-site training is provided, and no prior experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Receives HVAC filter shipments.
  • Replaces HVAC filters.
  • Performs routine inspections while replacing filters.
  • Identifies additional maintenance needs and reports them to supervisory personnel.
  • Performs basic housekeeping duties (e.g., emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, cleaning drains, disposing of trash/recyclables).
  • Maintains tools and equipment in good condition; plans and organizes assignments effectively.
  • Completes work tickets and required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Demonstrates a professional, positive, and helpful attitude when interacting with customers, coworkers, and supervision.
  • Maintains effective communication with management, employees, and customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain base access.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must not be color-blind.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of recent experience within the past five years in facility maintenance.
