Job Summary

An Assembler is responsible for assembling various pieces or components to create a finished product according to specified instructions and guidelines. This role involves using hand tools, machinery, and specialized equipment to ensure all parts fit correctly and are accurately installed. The assembler will ensure all products meet quality standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
  • Assemble components accurately and efficiently using various hand tools and machinery.
  • Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
  • Perform repetitive tasks on an assembly line with precision.
  • Operate various tools and equipment to complete assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED; 1+ years of experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend assembly instructions and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.

Pay

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $22.95 - $31.05. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
