General Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment runs effectively.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic machinery, combustion systems, electrical and electronic equipment.
• Install, assemble, rebuild and repair all types of equipment and support facilities infrastructure.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment.
• Participate in projects and planning events. Interface with suppliers and lead contracting activities.
• Use Computer Maintenance Management System.
• Identify, specify and use spare and replacement parts.
• Participate, lead and support training, EHS, Human Performance, and company objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 3 years of maintenance technician experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must possess reading, writing, and basic math skills.
• Understand precision measuring instruments, electrical or electronic testing devices, drawings and schematics, equipment user manuals, activity and task instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
