About the Role
Provides skilled planned and corrective cross-functional maintenance and repair services including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing for designated facilities on the Columbia campus of the University of South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned and corrective maintenance and repairs in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Maintain harmonious working relationships with departmental staff and customers.
- Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Maintain functional awareness of typical workplace hazards.
- Communicate both orally and in writing.
- Maintain accurate records relating to time, materials, and services provided.
- Organize, plan, and prioritize work within established resources.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to use a computer.
