General Maintenance Mechanic
About the role
A full-time, days/rotating weekends position as a General Maintenance Mechanic with Sentara.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance as directed and as necessary on all aspects of building structure and systems to include floors, walls, ceilings, lighting, HVAC, transportation systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other items.
- Work in a hospital environment around patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- One year of work experience in general maintenance such as facility or residential maintenance, contractor, carpentry, laborer, or painter.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Driver’s License.
