General Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

The General Maintenance Mechanic at Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital, located in Harrisonburg, VA, performs general maintenance as directed and as necessary on all aspects of building structure and systems to include floors, walls, ceilings, lighting, HVAC, transportation systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventive maintenance on all building systems and equipment
• Repairs and replaces damaged or malfunctioning building components
• Assists with facility projects and renovations
• Maintains records of maintenance activities and repairs

Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
• Driver's License - Certification (Required)
• Refrigerant Recovery certification Type I and Type II or Universal (Preferred)
• Experience in Facility Maintenance for at least 1 year (Required)
