General Maintenance Technician II with Certification/License primary responsibility includes performing HVAC repairs/preventative maintenance on equipment. Other duties include repair and installation of plumbing fixtures; inspection/testing, repair and/or replacement of electrical power equipment; and running of emergency power generator to ensure proper operation. The Technician also performs general maintenance duties in and around the buildings of the hospital complex.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a commercial technical school or comparable experience in one of the following fields
• Must possess one of the following State of Texas issued: HVAC license or Journeyman's Electricians License or Plumbing license or Boiler certification or Plant Operator certification
• 10 years of experience in a related trade may be substituted for the requirements of certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or Boiler Plant Operations
