General Maintenance Associate (Regular Full-time)

About the role

Le Jardin Academy is seeking a General Maintenance Associate to join our team. The position is full-time, regular, and works Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties campus-wide, as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor, including HVAC, lighting, painting, landscaping, inspections, other light repairs, and general cleaning.
• Travels to Main and Junior school campuses as needed.
• Keeps detailed records of completed maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Conducts setup for evening and the following morning’s events.
• Assists with other maintenance activities as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Three years maintenance experience, e.g., air conditioning, plumbing, painting, carpentry, etc.
• Four to five years maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Three years maintenance experience, e.g., air conditioning, plumbing, painting, carpentry, etc.
• Four to five years maintenance experience is preferred.
• Maintains mathematical and language skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Builds strong relationships and works independently and frequently without direct supervision.
• Demonstrates organizational skills.
• Ability to drive a golf cart and small pickup truck.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, lifting up to 50 pounds, with a minimum of 25 pounds lifted and carried.
