About the role

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Janitorial and General Maintenance Worker for our North Mankato, MN facility. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Janitorial Duties:
  • Perform daily cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors
  • Empty trash and recycling containers
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
• General Maintenance Duties:
  • Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
  • Replace light bulbs, filters, and ceiling tiles
  • Assist with HVAC filter changes and basic system checks
  • Conduct routine facility inspections and identify repair needs
  • Repair doors, locks, handles, and other hardware
  • Paint and patch walls as needed
  • Set up and break down equipment or furniture for meetings and events
  • Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance (if applicable)
  • Assist as backup for warehouse activity following forklift certification

Requirements

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Pay

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16 - $20. The actual base offered depends on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
