General Maintenance 1st Shift
Position Summary
Shift hours: 7AM-3PM
Responsible for
- General cleaning duties of facilities and grounds.
- Maintenance duties, as needed, to maintain the condition of facilities and grounds.
- Aid technicians in repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance duties.
- Ensure personal and facility compliance with company requirements as it relates to PSE, Hazmat, HIPAA and all other required compliance items.
- Adhere to established federal/state/company safety procedures as well as company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as requested by Manager, when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and count accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Ability to work safely with and around operating mechanical systems.
- Ability to work within a team atmosphere.
- Ability to maintain predictable and reliable attendance.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work overtime.
Physical Demands
- This position has a (0-33%) lifting requirement up to 75lbs.
- Frequent bending/reaching/stooping;
- Frequent walking, standing, and climbing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience.
- Previous warehouse experience.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated Weekly Hours
The anticipated weekly hours for this position is 40.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46.
