General Maint/Building and Grounds

Responsibilities

• Perform any work assigned by the Director, Manager, or Supervisor of the Buildings and Grounds Department.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for efficient property operations.
• Maintain all tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Complete tasks as assigned by the Director, Manager, or Supervisor.
• Repair or replace defective equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Use common hand and power tools such as hammers, saws, drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments, and electrical/electronic testing devices.
• Assist in repairing roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, drywall, and other parts of building structures.
• Perform groundwork, including cutting grass, within the county area.

Some overtime may be required.
