General Liability Defense Associate Attorney

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to join our General Liability Defense practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling civil litigation matters and a strong interest in developing their career within insurance defense. Experience with premises liability, automobile negligence, personal injury defense, or other general liability matters is highly preferred. Responsibilities Help run and assist with managing a caseload of general liability defense mattersDraft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and other substantive legal documentsConduct and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and court proceedingsAnalyze claims, develop case strategies, and provide thoughtful recommendations to clientsNegotiate settlements and assist with cases through all stages of litigationMaintain clear and effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and team members Requirements 2+ years of litigation experienceGeneral liability and/or insurance defense experience preferredLicensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standingStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with a desire for long-term professional growth Benefits The KD Difference: We offer competitive pay, top-tier medical insurance, 401(k) with matching, and much more.
