GENERAL LABORER/ WATER DAMAGE TECHNICIAN
About the role
Serclean specializes in water mitigation services, offering expert solutions to help clients recover from water-related incidents. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates to join our team of experienced water restoration technicians.
Responsibilities
- Handle issues caused by water damage and remove and replace damaged materials
- Set up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property
- Work closely with the management team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers
- Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
- Document drying progress using a phone or tablet
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work overtime and some holidays
- IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred
- 1-2 years of Structural Restoration experience preferred
- 2-4 years of Construction experience preferred
- 2-4 years of Customer Service experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Regular lifting of 50+ pounds
- Work in crawlspaces, attics, and tight spaces
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Exposure to water-damaged environments
