UIC Arctic Operations & Development is currently seeking a Project Manager.

About the role

Responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery within the Arctic operations and development sector. This role requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of Arctic environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee project teams to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Communicate project status updates to stakeholders including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and safety regulations in the Arctic region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in Arctic operations and development.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of Arctic environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in a Scandinavian language preferred.
