General Laborer - Tire Service Technician Trainee

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated, driven individual with a strong interest in mechanics to join our team as a General Laborer. This position offers a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on skills in the tire industry. You will start with core inventory and grading duties while training under experienced technicians to learn commercial tire installation and roadside service.

Responsibilities

• Inventory & Grading: Sort tire inventory, organize stock, and accurately grade tires based on condition and tread life.
• Tire Installation Training: Learn the fundamentals of commercial tire mounting, balancing, and installation on a wide range of fleet and commercial vehicles.
• Road Service Training: Shadow experienced technicians to learn roadside commercial tire repair, replacement, and emergency service operations.
• Facility Maintenance: Help keep the shop, service area, and inventory yard clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications

• Motivation & Drive: Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a eager, proactive attitude toward learning new skills.
• Mechanical Interest: A genuine interest in mechanics, tools, automotive, or commercial service.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, roll, and move heavy commercial tires throughout the workday.
• Safety Mindset: Commitment to following all shop and field safety protocols.
