General Laborer (Production Midnights)

About the role

I Squared R Element Co., Inc. is a manufacturer of silicon carbide heating elements, trade name Starbar®, and molybdenum disilicide heating elements, trade name Moly-D®. The Starbar heating element has a maximum use temperature of 3,100ºF (1,700ºC). The Moly-D element can operate up to an element temperature of 3,362ºF (1,850ºC). I Squared R is known for both its consistent high-quality elements and high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material from continuous pusher-style furnaces
• Evaluate the electrical properties of the material once removed from the furnaces
• Work in a high-heat, dusty production environment
• Perform additional duties as required

Requirements

• Able to lift 40 lbs
• Able to read time on a clock
• Able to read and record furnace times correctly
• Comfortable working in high-heat, dusty environments
• Basic mechanical ability and an eye for material quality
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting
• Effective time management; follows assignments through to completion
• Conscientious, punctual, and dependable
• Must have reliable transportation
