General Laborer I

Work Location: US, TX, Beaumont – 16341 West Highway 90 (on-site)

About the role

This entry-level field-support role works under direct supervision in Site Access Operations. The position is responsible for loading and unloading materials, parts, and products at the yard or customer work sites. The work involves physical labor in diverse weather and ground conditions (rain, snow, mud, heat, cold).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, parts, or products manually or with mechanized equipment under close supervision.
• Install ground protection and lay composite matting at customer sites.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures, including OSHA, EPA, DEQ, and DOT regulations, in alignment with NPK policies.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills.
• Adhere to a flexible schedule (day, night, weekends, holidays) and on-call availability; punctuality and attendance are mandatory.
• Handle routine tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• No degree required.
• No prior experience required; 1 year of manufacturing, warehouse, or construction experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
