General Laborer/Forklift Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials
• Affords assistance with a variety of functions across departments with manual labor as needed
• Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Supports shipping, receiving, and inventory processes
• Maintains a clean and organized work area
• Fulfills safety protocols and company procedures at all times
• Affords assistance with basic fabrication tasks as needed
• Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area
• Participates in routine equipment inspections and reports maintenance needs

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• A valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred
• Prior forklift operation or general labor experience is preferred
• A moderate understanding of general fabrication or warehouse processes is preferred
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly is required
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability are essential
• Effective communication and teamwork skills are valued
• A willingness to follow directions and ask questions when unsure is expected
