General Laborer - Commercial Construction

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Affix metal studs and perform rough carpentry tasks.
• Execute trim work and finish carpentry.
• Install siding and perform caulk, seal, and punch-list work.
• Work on insulation and acoustical ceiling installations.
• Hang and finish drywall.
• Install door and hardware.
• Transport and load/unload construction materials and tools.
• Prepare and maintain job sites, including cleaning and removing debris.
• Perform basic construction activities such as lifting, carrying, measuring, cutting, and demolition.
• Comply with company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
• Use hand and power tools appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outdoor and indoor job site experience.
• Willingness to perform various construction tasks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
• Commitment to safety and following job site rules.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Own and provide personal hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial construction, general labor, or finish work experience.
• Experience with painting, trim, tile, or framing.
• Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (provided by Buffalo if not certified).
