General Laborer

About the role
Join JC Pallet, a trusted source for recycled pallets, as a laborer at their Barhamsville, VA facility. As a valued member of the team, you'll contribute to a family-like work environment with exceptional benefits.
Responsibilities
- Clean the loading docks
- Help with the unloading process of trailers (restack pallets, pick up wood material, etc.)
- Sweep out and clean trailers
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Must be able to use personal safety equipment in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery, fast-paced forklift traffic, machine noise, and varying temperatures.
- Frequent lifting and bending of no more than 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving forklifts.
Qualifications
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7am until at least 5pm, occasionally later or earlier. Some Saturdays may be required.
