GENERAL LABORER - 3RD SHIFT

About the role

Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity, decreasing downtime and waste. Assume an active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor. Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures. Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards. Other duties as assigned. May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations to increase productivity and decrease downtime and waste
• Assist with all plant floor jobs and facilities-related tasks
• Follow company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures
• Maintain shop and equipment per 5S Standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Stack parts up to 30 lbs. for up to 12 hours when required

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• Passion for maintaining a safe work environment
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Willingness to work first and second shifts
• Good attendance record
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment
• Understanding that temperatures and work volumes may vary

Pay

Starting salary: $21.67 per hour.

Annual bonus based on plant performance metrics.
