General Labor, Recycling Sorter, Tacoma, WA

About the role

We’re hiring General Laborers / Sorters to sort recyclables at a large recycling and processing plant in Tacoma, WA. Sorting recyclables is not a glamorous job but it’s a necessary one that helps keep our community clean.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions and assist in sorting recyclables
• Lift up to 25 pounds as needed and stand for your entire shift
• Work multiple shifts, Monday-Friday (some Saturdays if needed)
• Work hours: 1st Shift 6:00am to 2:30pm, 2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Can lift up to 25 pounds, as needed, and stand for your entire shift
• Consent to a background check
• Consent to a drug screen
• Reliable transportation to get to work

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, general labor or sorting experience is a plus, but not required
• Detail and safety-oriented
