General Labor - Production Counter Sorter. 1pm - 9:30pm

Responsibilities

• Open bags of soiled textiles, then sort them by type, size and color.
• Count textiles manually or electronically and transfer them into sorting systems.
• Identify damaged or abused textiles and record them into sorting systems.
• Meet efficiency and safety standards for the position.
• Follow instructions as directed by supervision.
• Work in other production positions as needed.

Requirements

• Recognize colors and sizes and count accurately.
• Comprehend and follow direction.
• Ability to meet physical demands: standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping for the entire shift.
• Work in production environments with variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint, and dust; handle soiled linens from restaurants, hotels, medical facilities, and shops.
• No travel required.
• No formal education required.

Pay

Classification: Non‑Exempt. Up to $15 per hour, paid weekly.
