General Labor I - Baler- 2nd Shift

About the role

Effectively move and dispose materials (trash and recyclables) on Production Floor within Maker's Pride facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ability to use electric pallet jack
• Recyclables movement
• Separation of recycled materials
• Compactor Operation
• Trash movement and disposal
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and free of debris production floor
• Other duties may be assigned

• High school diploma or GED certification required
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment with exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures. This is a team environment; all employees must be able to work together and communicate in a respectful and professional manner. Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and work with your hands throughout the duration of the shift
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
• Environments can be very cold or very warm depending on location

Pay

Starting pay: $19.00/hr. A shift differential is offered for 2nd shift opportunities.
