General Labor / Flagger

Responsibilities

• Aid Journeyman with various construction tasks, such as digging, hauling, and cleanup.
• Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate power tools, such as saws, drills, and grinders, under the supervision of experienced journeymen.
• Layout parking lot striping.
• Always follow safety guidelines and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including disposing of waste and materials properly.
• Collaborate with our team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Inform motorists regarding detours.
• Communicate with other Flaggers and Construction Workers using hand signals to direct traffic.
• Report on negligent drivers.

Qualifications

• Strong Work Ethic and 5 Years of Construction Related Experience
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Familiarity with construction equipment and power tools
• Basic knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
• ATSSA certificate (preferred)
• Colorado Flagger Certification (required at a minimum)
