General Installer - New Construction

Base pay starts at $20/hr. during training (up to 3 months), then $18/hr. plus production bonuses. Must be 21 years old and have or be able to obtain the F-endorsement on driver license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of all installed punch-out products, including closet shelving, mirrors, bath accessories, shower doors, medicine cabinets, and locks.
• Install and service all punch-out related products in accordance with Tindell's quality and customer satisfaction guidelines.
• Install garage doors per manufacturers' specifications.
• Install doors, windows, and trim.
• Maintain knowledge of building codes pertaining to installation of garage doors.
• Responsible for loading, unloading, safety checks, and basic maintenance and care of trucks.
• Assist as needed in the warehouse, including stocking, inventory counts, and unloading.
• Complete required paperwork: time worked, material loaded on truck, material used, and material returned to inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse in accordance with Tindell's safety and administrative policies.

Requirements

• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Ability to work on ladders with no fear of heights.
• Basic construction knowledge.
• General knowledge of building trades.
• Must be 21 years old and have or have the ability to obtain the F-endorsement on driver license.
