General Help/Chemical (Day Shift)

About the role

The Chemical Processing General Helper performs general duties in the department including racking, unracking, unmasking, cleaning, and organizing in accordance with route card instructions, internal procedures, and customer specifications. The successful candidate will work safely in a chemical environment using all required safety equipment and safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Perform unmasking and cleaning operations per instructions.
• Assist in racking, un-racking, loading, and unloading of parts.
• Verify all internal procedures and customer requirements are followed, including accurately inputting data onto Route Cards.
• Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and hazard-free manner.
• Train and certify for chemical processes as necessary.
• Track supplies, request orders in a timely manner, and maintain an accurate list of materials for ordering.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an industrial environment (preferred, but other experience will be considered).
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as procedure manuals, work instructions, and warehouse work orders.
• Ability to write legible notes and correspondence in English.
• Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires the employee to be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Pay

$20.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
