About the role

Penn State Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon with sub-specialty training in Hand Surgery to assist in growing the Orthopedic practice in Reading.

Responsibilities

• Assist in growing the Orthopedic practice in Reading
• Provide exceptional care in a Community Hospital setting

Requirements

• M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
• BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery
• Completion of an accredited orthopedic residency program and hand fellowship program preferred
• Collegial and driven individual passionate about providing exceptional care in a Community Hospital setting
• If sub-specialty trained, willing to provide general orthopedic care (hospital on call and elective)

Qualifications

• Sub-specialty trained in Hand Surgery preferred
• General orthopedic care available if sub-specialty trained
