General Equipment Operator Application - MN Field

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties, including site preparation, excavation, grading, and cleanup.
• Operate or assist with heavy equipment, such as loaders, dozers, excavators, and compactors (depending on qualifications).
• Work with concrete, asphalt, or other materials as required.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.
• Auxiliary roles assisting tradespeople, such as operators, carpenters, and ironworkers.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in highway heavy construction preferred but not required.
• Union membership (or willingness to join if required).
• Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
