About the role
As a Software Engineer at Atomic Industries, you will be part of a team working on the automation of tool and die making processes. Your responsibilities will involve developing software solutions that leverage deep learning and other advanced methodologies to improve productivity and efficiency in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software for the automation of tool and die making processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate complex manufacturing challenges into technical solutions
- Utilize C++, Python, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning (RL), CUDA, and Machine Learning to build robust and scalable software solutions
- Work on projects that aim to transform the field of human creativity and design through automation
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning (RL), CUDA, and Machine Learning
- Experience with computational geometry/meshing/CFD, physical HPC + ML problems, and automation of manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
- Knowledge of parallel computing and GPU programming
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and their applications in manufacturing
