General Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical evaluations on equipment and facilities projects, including building improvement, machinery improvement projects, and work orders.
  • Provide cost evaluation of the projects.
  • Provide additional analyses as needed by the Government, including but not limited to requirements analysis, technology assessments, risk analysis and mitigation, configuration management, interface management, performance measurements, and effectiveness analyses.
  • Maintain knowledge of the scope of work of equipment and facility projects managed by the Abrams program office.
  • Monitor and track day-to-day status and project development.
  • Conduct on-site walkthroughs and documenting project execution progress.
  • Report day-to-day status and project development to the Government facilities lead and Abrams program office.
  • Identify and analyze equipment and facilities problems and recommend solutions to the Government facilities lead and Abrams program office.
  • Capture, track, and report on equipment and facilities projects progress metrics.
  • Attend meetings to support the Abrams equipment and facilities projects.
  • Communicate via phone, email, and Microsoft TEAMS.

Requirements

  • An active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
  • A United States Citizenship and must pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
  • Clearance: Active Secret clearance is required.
  • US Citizenship: Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Security Clearance: Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
