Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all electrical construction activities, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Supervise and mentor electrical foremen, journeymen, and apprentices, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents to ensure accurate project execution.
- Implement and enforce all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety inspections and meetings.
- Maintain project schedules by monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other superintendents to ensure seamless project integration.
- Manage project budgets, tracking costs, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all electrical installations meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and other necessary documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical guidance to the field team.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide input on constructability and scheduling.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
- Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant local electrical codes.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and grounding.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as required by project demands.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
