About the Role

As a licensed dentist, you will provide general dentistry services, including the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general dentistry services, including diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.
• Examine patients to determine the nature of their condition using x-rays, dental instruments, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Clean, fill, extract, and replace teeth using rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances, medications, and surgical implements.
• Provide preventive dental services and educate patients on oral and dental hygiene.
• Coordinate laboratory services for the dental office.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment and compliance with OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen requirements.
• Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and routine office meetings.
• Perform all other duties allowed under applicable state laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care and patient education on dental health.
• Exhibit effective communication skills and maintain a professional, courteous demeanor with patients.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree, licensed in the state of practice or ability to obtain licensure upon graduation.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
• Completion of a general practice residency (GPR) or advanced education general dentistry residency (AEGD) preferred.
