About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, single-doctor practice in San Antonio, Texas, with clinical autonomy while being supported by Heartland Dental, the nation’s largest Dental Support Organization. You will lead the practice and collaborate with a seasoned, high-performing team dedicated to exceptional patient care in a supportive and communicative work culture.

Utilize cutting-edge technology, including an iTero Scanner, WaveOne Gold, and VideaHealth AI, to provide advanced and efficient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered general dentistry with a focus on trust and comfort.
• Exercise full clinical autonomy in decision-making for patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development programs.
• Become credentialed with various dental insurance plans to ensure seamless patient coverage.
• Perform essential duties, including prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and occasional lifting of up to 45 pounds.
• Attend periodic virtual or in-person training sessions to stay current with industry advancements.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, including regular training and safeguarding patient health information (PHI).

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
• Active and unrestricted dental license in the state of Texas.
• Proven experience in general dentistry (experienced doctors only).
• Commitment to continuous learning and expanding clinical skills.
• Ability to perform essential duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to undergo tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to employment (not applicable in FL & TN).
