General Dentist (Flexible Schedule)

About the role

The Smilist Dental is seeking a Floating General Dentist based out of their North Babylon office. This role is designed for a dentist who values schedule flexibility, income freedom, and the stability of a growing, well-established dental support organization (DSO).

Responsibilities

• Choose shifts across multiple offices near North Babylon to fill out your week as desired
• Earn an uncapped, flexible income based on the number of days and offices covered
• Float between convenient, commutable locations within Nassau and Suffolk County
• Access full clinical support including hygiene, assistants, and front desk staff
• Utilize modern infrastructure and digital workflows at all locations
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, marketing, insurance credentialing, and billing
• Provide comprehensive general dentistry services including exams, restorative treatments, endodontics, extractions, and more
• Deliver consistent, high-quality patient care across multiple Smilist locations
• Step in to cover patient demand as needed

Requirements

• DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active NY dental license
• Comfortable treating a broad scope of general dentistry procedures
• Reliable, patient-focused, and excited about a flexible, multi-office schedule
• Willingness to travel between offices in Nassau and Suffolk County

Qualifications

• Experience in comprehensive general dentistry
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
