General Dentist - Eligible for Loan Repayment

The General Dentist supports Willamette Dental’s evidence-based treatment philosophy, mission, vision, and core values by performing the full scope of general dentistry permitted by state.

3-10 hour shifts

Pay

Expected hiring range: $142,500 to $157,500 annually. The actual base pay offered will be based on education, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the Company’s plan and is eligible for state/federal loan repayment programs.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill all requirements to ensure proper electronic documentation for all care provided to patients using AxiUm electronic records.
• Apply knowledge of evidence-based dental practices, CAMBRA, PEMBRA, and risk assessment with an emphasis on prevention.
• Diagnose and treat oral cavity anomalies using appropriate diagnostic terms and techniques.
• Assess patient needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate patient satisfaction to provide an optimal patient experience.

Requirements

• Degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), and/or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
• Successful completion of a traditional pre-doctoral dentistry program.
• Valid licensure in the specific state(s) where practicing.

Physical Requirements

The work is primarily performed while sitting and/or standing but requires occasional walking, bending, stooping, and carrying light items such as papers, books, or other supplies. The incumbent uses a computer and other standard office equipment to complete tasks.
