General Dentist

Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Clinical Director Job Summary We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Look-Alike, is seeking a skilled, patient-focused Dentist to join our growing dental clinic. Key Responsibilities Diagnose oral diseases and develop appropriate treatment plans.Perform dental procedures including exams, fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic procedures.Administer anesthesia and perform pain management.Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Ensure compliance with all infection control, HIPAA, OSHA, and state dental board regulations.All other duties assigned. Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.Active and unrestricted Illinois state dental license.Malpractice insurance (or eligibility to obtain).Experience with the pediatric population requiredCPR/BLS certification.Strong diagnostic, clinical, and treatment-planning skills.Excellent communication and patient care abilities.3+ years of clinical experienceExperience with cosmetic or implant dentistry is a plus.
