About the role
Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a full-time Dentist (40 hours/week) to work at the Ross Correctional Institution in Chillicothe, OH. This general dentistry position is ideal for new graduates, retired dentists not ready to fully retire, or those seeking a non-private practice setting. The role focuses on screenings, exams, extractions, and fillings, with very limited endodontic work and no orthodontics, crown & bridge, or complex oral surgery.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (40 hours weekly). No late nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care
- Perform screenings and exams
- Conduct fillings and extractions
- Limited endodontic procedures; no orthodontics or crown & bridge required
Requirements
- Current Ohio Dental License
- Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification
Pay
$95 per hour.
